Being born in the US, my mom desired to return to her birthplace, leading us on a new journey. This experience opened my eyes to the limitations in a beautiful country, even when it came to simple things like visiting a park. However, with President Bukele, I witnessed remarkable changes when I finally revisited after two decades of absence. The transformations are evident everywhere, from a flourishing tourism industry to increased police presence, and people now confidently investing in this stunning country, as the fear of gangs and rent struggles has dissipated. It's truly a sight to behold for anyone with a connection to El Salvador's history.
